Classic co-op returns, where you can play with up to 15 other players in various cooperative and versus modes. The same game modes from Serious Sam HD are included in Serious Sam VR. As Fusion includes both HD and VR versions, this makes it possible for VR players to play with those who don't have virtual reality headsets. With the release of Serious Sam Fusion, Serious Sam VR was included in the compilation, along with Serious Sam 3: BFE and Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE. This can also be tweaked and adjusted to the way the player moves through the VR space to best suit their playing experience using Croteam's Serious Warp locomotion. The player can explore the levels using trackpad movement, or with the built-in teleportation system and move quickly to avoid charging enemies with Sam's personal translocator device. The game's HUD has changed as well instead of the HUD showing the player's ammo count on the bottom right corner of the screen, it is now shown as blue displays on top of the player's weapons. That way, the player can decimate large hordes of enemies much more easily. This makes it possible for the player to hold the cannon in one hand and the rocket launcher in the other.
